Larsen Family Reunion 2010

This is Grandma and Grandpa Larsen. Last year my "Brother" volunteered our family to do the reunion my grandparents were not too excited about it but we told them they would have lots of help. I volunteered to make the quilt which ive never done before so I had no idea what I was in for but everyone told me I was crazy. After a long summer of getting things ready the reunion turned out GREAT we sure had a good time and even saw some ole cousins I haven't seen in a while.
This is the quilt I choose to make it took me 4 months to get it done. I made it ONLY because I knew how much my grandpa wanted a good ole hand sewn quilt that people don't make anymore they just go out and buy them. I had hopes my grandpa would win it cuz I knew other than me HE was the ONLY one who would appreciate it as much as I did, needless to say after a long stressful day they choose me to draw the name out and I just happened to draw Grandpa's name he was so happy and proud he got a bit teary which in return made me start crying which ended in a big long hug that I'll never forget, it was a blessed moment and made my summer.

Lots of prizes and auction stuff.

We had lots of help!

Spens Family Camping Trip 2010

This year we went up to Strawberry or co-op creek to go camping. It was fun to have all the family together the kids had a blast the played their little hearts out all day long and crashed in the evenings. Robert took the kids to Strawberry Resivoir and caught a bunch of crayfish or crawdad's and he brought them back and cooked them up the kids had a blast trying to catch those little guys, Brailee couldn't get enough of the four wheelers and Brecken and Madison were gone off playing from sun up to sun down being little women its fun to watch my kids grow and enjoy themselves I hope they can remember these days or memories years from now.

The Fair part 2

We had a lot of fun at the Morgan County Fair this year although Robert and I were glad when it was over. It was Brayden's first year in 4-H and he showed a Lamb in the fair, he worked hard at getting it ready not as hard as he could of but we are proud of him. He washed his lamb made a poster, Brecken even had the opportunity to "show" or walk the lamb around after it was done and get a small trophy she wouldn't have anything to do with the sheep before the fair but as you can see by the end she was in the cage with it and she was not too happy about the fact it wasn't coming home with us. The kids had fun playing games at the fair we went to motorcross, the parade, the rodeo and they played on the toys it was a long 3 days but it was worth it, thank you to family who helped with Brailee it sure made our days easier.
