Halloween party

The scout's put on a Halloween party for the primary children, they had all kinds of games and activities for the kids. Brayden was a mummy and Brecken was Ariel.

playing all the games, Brecken was being a little shy.

Elk Hunt

After 7 year's we finally got our Elk!
Robert was a happy man after shooting his elk. It took until Saturday (talk about cutting it close) but he was finally able to get one. And the kid's were so excited to have their own, Brayden wanted to keep all the part's only boy's would want (ie- the leg's, tongue,insides you get the picture) we were suppose to get ton's of snow I guess eveyone else got pounded on but up here in the hill's well you can see how much we got. Although I prayed it wouldn't snow for our ride home, cuz I just love to drive in the snow, :-) !





Brayden got up early and went to help dad drag that elk down off the mountain, there was no way dad was going without him.

We are so proud of our children.
On Thursday morning we woke up early and headed out at 6:30 in the morning to retreave three elk (uncle Brandon's, Mike's, and Milan's) they hiked and hiked all over that mountain until 3:30 in the afternoon,until Brecken didn't want to hike anymore. In fact everytime we said we were going out she would get all upset and tell us she was not going anymore.
They were so tired they fell asleep right after eating dinner in our arm's.



This is our "Man" this little guy hiked his little butt off for 5 day's he got out there and hiked every day to try and find those elk. He was such a trooper.

Everything her dad does, she has to copy. Even chewing on the weeds!
















Dad finally gave in and carried her after her leg's were so tired she just sat down on the trail and wouldn't go any further.

















Gandpa Larsen was happy to walk them back to the truck, they didn't hesitate to go.











Here's Brandon, Mike, Casey, and Milan finally headed out with the last elk of the day. "Back to Camp" Boy was I wiped out and tired my leg's were very sore, I don't know how the kid's did it.

Black Island Corn Maze

We went to the Black island corn maze for family night my kids had a blast. Robert and I also enjoyed ourselves although i've been a little under the weather, I didnt' do as much running around cuz my head hurt to bad but everyone else sure enjoyed themselves, and that's all that counts!
The kids LOVED to run threw the mini corn maze.












I don't know how many times they raced dad threw.















Then they went on a little tractor ride.

We went on a wagon ride and everyone got to pick out there own pumkin. The kids had a blast they want to do this every day.

July camping trip

I just want to catch family and friends up on what we did this summer, since I just figured out how to use my blog.

Here is Braydne and Garrett of to hunt something, who know's what those two have up there sleeve when they are together. Aren't they so cute?

Here is Brecken riding there four wheeler she is getting to big for her britches. She want's to do everything Brayden does and more.

Summer vacation at lava hot springs

This summer as a family we went to Lava Hot Spring's it was so much fun, the kids really enjoyed it. The Hot Springs were a little to hot for them, but the had a blast at the olympic pool. We just might have to make this a tradition.
Brayden has come along way this summer, we finally got him to go down the slides and he LOVED IT we are so proud of him, I think he wore the slides out.

Brecken now she was just content to stay where her feet could touch the ground. She is our little water bug. And there is brayden in the back ground dad is throwing him up in the air, Robert was a little wore out when the too of them were done with him, and Robert and I were really sun burned after that day. It was the first time in my life I blistered from the sun, I was a little misserable. But it was worth it.

This Fall

Brayden is enjoying soccer again this fall. He is getting

better each year.

He blocked the ball so the other team couldn't score. Good job Brayden!
