Box car derby

Instead of a pinewood derby for scouts this year they did a box car derby, the boys had to make a car out of a box, then they ran around the gym threw an obstical course, oh they had so much fun.

Brecken dance at lagoon

Brecken danced at lagoon a couple weeks ago and her team took 1st place in their age. WAY to go BRECKEN!

Ok so I asked robert to pull out this small border/strip of cement we had in the

front of our house so I can make my flower bed a little bigger, and a small job turned

into a 2 hour project. LOOK AT THE SIZE of this cement we pulled out I don't know

what they were thinking when they poured this. It took the tractor plus we had to cut it in

half after we got it out cuz the tractor about tipped over going out of the driveway and we lost it off the tractor and to get it back on we had to break it in half, boy what a day I have one on the other side of my house in front of the other window but robert told me "just cover it with dirt, im not pulling it out." Oh the joys of older homes.

My first maraton, of course I only ran the 5k but hey it was still fun!

It was the first time ive ran the full 3 miles and not stopped at all

Spring is finally here!

We got these little carts for the kids for their birthday's of course I picked them up at a Thanksgiving sale and so everyone knows with "my" brain I once again put them away and forgot about them so last weekend we were cleaning the patio off and I remembered so we got them out and gave them to the kids for their late birthday. :-)

Brailee's FIRST time outside playing this summer I think she is going to LOVE being outdoors she gets made when I take her in, she loves to go all over the place in the walker and she LOVES zoe her and zoe are buddies, I have nothing to worry about.

My kids started Spring Break on the 2 and 3 of april this year and we had many plans of easter egg hunts and birthday parties this weekend and then Grandpa decided he wanted to change that for us a little, no im kidding this is my grandpa stan and I love this man with all my heart, he has diabetes and it is slowly taking him down heal, he has had multiple heart attacks and 3 years ago we were told we would have 6 months with him and yet here he is still with us. He will never know what an impact he has had on my life, he is probable the most loveable, kindest man on earth the family has always said "The lord broke the mold after he made our grandpa" I've never known a more gentle person and someone who loves life and loves the lord like he does. We know our time is getting short with him and we are trying to make the best of it for the amount of time we have with him. I love you Grandpa.
I painted the kids room for their Birthday since the both have their own rooms now but im not finished decorating them but this is the colors they chose.... well ok Brayden didn't care but Brecken chose her own.

Kid's Birthday

WOW 9 year's! Boy how the time goes by so fast... it makes me want to cry. Brayden turned 9 this year and is going to be out driving before we know it. Brecken turned 7, and next year she will be baptized holy cow. They are two great kids I love them so much. Im not much of a journal writter I never know what to say other than I love them and im so greatful the lord has blessed me with these 3 wonderful children.

Brayden made his own Birthday cake this year he did a great job.

Brecken didn't want a birthday cake she just wanted "cupcakes"

She got her ears pierced in march so for her birthday she got a whole

lot of earings and let me tell you she is counting down the days tell

she is able to take out the originals and replace them with the fun

ones.
